This high profile, hands-on position requires a highly motivated, self-starter that is driven to succeed and wants to be the best in their field. Candidates must have a proven, stable employment record in the HVAC industry and a high level of sales proficiency. In addition, a thorough understanding of HVAC mechanical systems and how to proactively estimate, propose and sell these systems using financial based selling techniques is required. A four year degree is highly desired, but experience in the HVAC industry in project sales can be a substitute.

We are searching for a qualified outside sale professional for our office covering the Cincinnati Ohio area. Our company is part of the Linc Network, (www.lincservice.com), of 160+ HVAC service locations across North America.
This position is a “hunter” position and will be calling on the top decision makers within a commercial facility to discuss Linc’s ability reduce their owning and operating costs while solving existing comfort and air quality problems. It entails being able to “paint a picture” and becoming a consultant to the “needs” of the customer. We are driven to successful business relationships through value not price!!! The primary job responsibilities include:

  • Consistent cold call activity at the decision maker level.
  • Executive level presentations.
  • Proposal generation and presentation.
  • Building financial and life cycle analyses to quantify value from the customer’s perspective.

THE PRIMARY REQUIREMENT FOR THIS POSITION IS POSSESSING FIRST CALL EXPERIENCE. THIS POSITION CONDUCTS PHONE COLD CALLS AND WALK IN COLD CALLS TO COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF SETTING A FORMAL MEETING WITH THE DECISION MAKER OF THE FACILITY.

Requirements

The individual we are seeking must possess a demonstrated record of success in selling services or other intangible offerings.
Technical knowledge in the HVAC industry is NOT a requirement; however, a mechanical aptitude is helpful.
Must be self-disciplined, results driven and accustomed to winning sales awards through consistently high performance.
Leadership character along with the desire, ability and skills to manage the entire sales cycle is essential.
